Foundation of a polytechnic college laid in Alipurduar

The foundation stone of a polytechnic college was laid here be local MLA Sourav Chakrabarty to benefit the students of the tea garden areas.

The foundation of the polytechnic was laid yesterday by Chakrabarty who is also the Chairman of the Siliguri Jalpaiguri Development Authority (SJDA).

Construction of the polytechnic will cost Rs 20 crore, officials said.
