Four children drown in Saryu river in UP

Four children today drowned in the Saryu River at Khairighat area, police sources said here.

Sulochana Shukla (13), her brother Ram Babu (10), Kanhaiya (9) and Vikranta (10) drowned after they accidentally slipped and fell into the river while returning home from school at Baundi Gauriha village this afternoon, they said.

Police said the bodies of all four have been fished out.
