Four children drown while taking bath in Ganga

Four children drowned today while taking bath in Ganga river here, police said.

Anshika (11), Ranjit (8), Adesh (6) and Phoolkali (9) drowned when they slipped into deep water while taking bath in Ganga river in Kuagada village, they said.

A teenager, identified as Rajendra (16) was rescued, police said, adding that the bodies of three children have been fished out and efforts are being made to trace the fourth one.
