four-day conference to discuss various issues affecting people

: The acivities of the Centre and Tamil Nadu governments will come under review at the four day CPI Conference beginning here tomorrow, during which various resolutions are expected to be passed.

To be attended by 550 delegates from across the State, the conference will deliberate in detail on issues being faced by people under NDA government at the Centre and AIADMK in the State,CPI State secretary D Pandian told reporters here today.

Party general secretary Sudhakar Reddy would address the inaugural session while Tamil Nadu CPIM secretary G Ramakrishnan will deliver special address, he said.

Senior CPI like Gurudas Dasgupta,D Raja and R Nallakkanu will also be participating in the conference, he said.
 

Pandian also condemned the reported remarks of RSS leader Mohan Bhagwat on Mother Theresa and demanded to know why Prime Minister Narendra Modi remained silent on such issues.

The leakage of budget documents indicated the poor state of governance of Modi government, he said.
