Four die in separate road accidents

Four persons were killed and one injured today in separate road accidents here, police said.

A truck travelling to West Bengal from Punjab fell into Bahugul river today morning, killing Daljit Singh (60) and Ravi (38), both residents of Sangrur, they said.

In another accident, two persons were killed and one sustained injuries after the vehicle they were travelling in was hit by an unidentified vehicle near Ubariya temple under Jalalabad police station area.

The deceased have been identified as Sanno(35) and Uzma (30). The person injured has been admitted to hospital, police said.

All the bodies have been sent for post-mortem, police added.
