Four foetuses found in garbage in Muzaffarnagar

Four aborted foetuses were found in a dustbin at Purkazi town in the district, police said today.

A case has been registered against unidentified persons and the foetuses were sent for postmortem, they said.

According to Additional Chief Medical Officer B K Ojha, four foetuses including, three of females, were found in a garbage bin at Purkazi town yesterday.

Police suspected that they have been dumped by a clinic.

A team of health department has started inspections and sealed two clinics for irregularities.

The incident came to light when some locals found the foetusesin the bin.
