Four inter-state robbers arrested in Jaipur

With the arrest of four persons, police today claimed to have solved two cases of robbery that took place here in recent months.

The accused were identified as Mohd Nasir, 25, from Moradabad, Rajubabu, 40, from Mumbai, Altaf Khan, 29 and Sarafraj Alam, 25, from West Bengal, Jaipur Police Commissioner J S Rao said.

In the first robbery, an inter-state gang robbed a businessman in Motisingh Bhomion-ke-Rasta and fled with his bag carrying a cash of Rs 60 lakh on November 15, 2014, he said.

In the second incident the same gangsters looted 1 kg of silver from a businessman in Johri Bazar on January 15, Rao said.
 

The booty of both the cases is yet to be found, he said, adding, further investigations are underway.
