Four persons were killed and one critically injured when a jeep hit a motorcycle on National Highway-26 near Dharmagarh in Odisha's Kalahandi district, police said today.
The victims were proceeding towards Jayapatna from here after attending a function when it collided head-on with the jeep at Ghulijuba in Junagarh police station limits in the early hours today, they said.
While four persons who belonged to Jayapatna area died on the spot, the driver of the jeep was critically injured and taken to the district headquarters hospital here for treatment, they said.
Police rushed to the spot and sent the bodies for post-mortem.
