Four killed, 8 injured in mishap
Four persons were killed and nine others injured when their van collided with an empty cylinder laden lorry at Pandalkudi in Virudhunagar district today, police said.
The occupants of the van, all from Chennai, were on their way to Kulasekarapattinam to attend the Dussera festival when the mishap occurred.
The injured had been hospitalised, police said.
