Four people, including two children, were killed today after a SUV in which they were travelling overturned on the Pune-Mumbai Expressway near Lonavala, police said.
10 others, who were in the SUV, sustained injuries in the mishap, which occurred near Aundhe village, a senior police official said.
14 people from Thane were going to Kolhapur district when the SUV's driver lost control over the wheels after which it turned turtle, he said.
"Two women, a 10-year-old boy and 12-year-old girl were killed in the mishap," the official added.
