In a freak accident, four persons, including a woman, were killed today when a tree fell on an autorickshaw they were travelling in, police said.
The accident happened in Pirtand under the jurisdiction of Pirtand police station in Giridih district, the police said.
While three persons died on the spot, another person died on way to a hospital , a police officer said.
The victims were residents of same village and were returning home after shopping in Giridih, he said.
