Four persons, including a minor girl, were killed today in road accidents in Bihar's Purnia and Rohtas districts, police officials said.
An unidentified man and a minor girl were riding on a bicycle when a speeding truck crushed the two under its wheels in Gwalpara village in Purnia district, Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Dilnawaz Ahmed said.
The truck has been seized even as its driver managed to escape, Ahmed said.

The incident sparked off a protest by the local people who blocked road demanding compensation to the aggrieved families and arrest of the truck driver for rash driving, the ASP said.
In another incident, two bikers were killed after their bike lost control and fell in a ditch nerar Sainsar village in Rohtas district.
