Four killed in two road accidents in UP

Three persons of a family, including two women, were killed in a road accident today on the Delhi-Pauri Highway near Ganga Barrage, the police said.

Suresh Kumar (55), his wife Rumesh (50) and their niece Diksha (22) were killed when a speeding truck hit their car. The truck driver fled the spot, but his vehicle has been seized, police said.

In another incident, a woman was crushed to death by a car outside a medical college on the Delhi-Dehradun National Highway near Begrajpur village, the police said.

Brijesh (40) was crossing the road when a car ran over her, killing her on the spot, the police added.
