Four persons were killed and two others injured as the vehicle in which they were travelling rammed into a tree in Bihar's West Champaran district today, a senior police officer said.
The mishap took place near Hardiya Tanti village as the speeding Bolero lost control and rammed into a tree as a result its four occupants died on the spot, while two others were injured, the Superintendent of Police (SP) Shankar Jha said.
The bodies were being sent to a government hospital for post-mortem, he said.
Efforts were on to ascertain identity of the victims, the SP added.
