Four passengers stab driver, loot car

Four persons posing as passengers hired a car and looted it after stabbing the driver on Muzaffarnagar-Bijnor Road in the district, police said today.

The incident took place yesterday when four men hired a Maruti Van from Miranpur village for Bijnor and looted it after stabbing the driver, Pradeep, near Sikreda village here, they said.

They also robbed Rs 3,000 and a mobile phone, police said, adding, the driver has been rushed to a nearby hospital.

A case has been registered and search is on to nab the accused, they said.
