Renuma (of class 2), Saadan (class 7), Farookh (class 5) and Sumaila (class 5) started vomitting after consuming "dalia" served in the midday meal in Naglabari primary school here, police station in-charge of Rasoolpur Sri Prakash Yadav said.
The students were rushed to the district hospital while senior officials of the health and education department have been informed of the incident, Yadav said.
Meanwhile, the Basis Shiksha Adhikari Jitendra Singh Yadav when contacted said that an inquiry has been handed over to the health and education department and stern action would be taken against all those found responsible.
The shiksha mitra present in the school who later checked the "dalia" found it sour.
