A gang of robbers was busted and four of its members were arrested in Vaishali Nagar area, police said Monday.
Following a tip-off, a team of policemen reached the spot near Khirni railway crossing on Sunday night and arrested the accused when they were trying to commit robbery at a jewellery showroom.
"The police team caught Dholu Meena (23), Suresh Meena (27), Laxman Singh (27) and Ramesh Meena (20) while one accused identified as Rajveer managed to escape," DCP West Vikas Sharma said.
He said a country-made revolver, two live cartridges, one knife, one master key, five vehicles including four four-wheelers were recovered from their possession.
The accused have been involved in several cases of vehicle theft in Jaipur and other districts in the state, the police said.
