Four people, including three school children, suffered minor burn injuries as the van, in which they were returning home, caught fire near Chaudhary ki Gadhaiya area here this afternoon, police said.
Smoke was spotted coming out of the vehicle while it was being used to drop students, they said.
Passers-by rescued the students and the van driver, who suffered serious burn injuries.
The students - Aman Ali , Aditya and Atulit - received minor injuries and were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, police added.
