"Malcolm in the Middle" star Frankie Muniz is set to appear in an upcoming episode of "Preacher".

It is currently unknown what character the former child star will be playing, reported Ace Showbiz.

Fans speculate that the actor may just play himself as he's not pictured with other cast members in newly-released photos for the upcoming episode.

Donning a purple shirt beneath his navy suit, Frankie is seen standing still while staring into the camera.

"Preacher" season 2 follows Jesse Custer (Dominic Cooper), "a conflicted preacher in a small Texas town who is inhabited by a mysterious entity that allows him to develop a highly unconventional power.
