As mark of tribute to the teaching community, a city hospital is offering free medical consultation to teachers for 25 days from September five, Teachers' day.
A special 25 per cent concession will be offered for the Master Health Check up Programmes to the teaching community, Dr.P.Periyaswamy, Senior Consultant Urologist and Managing Director, Sree Abirami Hospital said in a release today.
"Teachers are the cornerstones of our future and act as foundation for creating responsible citizens and good human beings. Teachers day is celebrated to show our acknowledgement and recognition of the hard work put in by our teachers towards our development," he said.
Free medical consultation will be on from September five to September 30, he said.
The hospital is also organising health awareness talk programmes for teachers in schools and requested all teachers to avail this facility for a healthy living, Dr.M.Kunthavi Devi, Director and Senior Consultant Obstetrics and Gynecologist, said.
