Freedom fighter Choudhary Jaswant Singh Arya dies

Choudhary Jaswant Singh Arya, who took part in the country's freedom movement, passed away after prolonged illness at Gangaram area here today.

He was 102 years old.

Singh was jailed several times during the country's freedom struggle, Sub Divisional Magistrate Heera Lala Yadav said.

His mortal remains wrapped in the national flag were consigned to flames by his son Dharmpal Singh.
