Freight rates for 10-tonne pay load section for Bangalore and Mysore were quoted higher by Rs 500 in the local truck transport market today on tight availability of trucks.
Transporters said tight availability of trucks amid pick up in cargo movements mainly led to rise in Bangalore and Mysore freight rates.
Freight rates from Delhi to Bangalore and Mysore were enquired higher by Rs 500 each to Rs 66,000 and Rs 71,000 respectively.
