Freight rates remains steady

Freight rates for the nine-tonne pay load section remained flat at the local truck transport market today on restricted cargo movements against easy availability of trucks.

Transporters said besides restricted cargo movements, adequate availability of trucks, mainly kept freight rates around previous levels.
