Freight rates for ten-tonne pay load section for Chennai and Bangalore dropped by Rs 1,000 in the local truck transport market today, following tight cargo movements against excess position of trucks.
Transporters said insufficient cargo movements and heavy availability of trucks in the markets, mainly pulled down Bangalore and Chennai freights.
Delhi to Bangalore and Chennai rates moved down by Rs 1,000 each to Rs 65,000 and Rs 67,000.
