Fruit seller killed in accident

A bicycle rider was crushed to death by a car near collectorate fly-over this morning, police said.

Sobran Singh, aged around 60 years, and pillion rider were injured in the accident and rushed to a nearby hospital, police said.

Singh, a native of Bulandshahr, succumbed to injuries in the hospital.

The car came from Hapur Chungi side, rammed into their bicycle, police said.

Singh used to sell fruits in Maliwara market here.

Police has taken the car in its custody but the driver has fled from the spot.
