Gandhian Sasi Perumal's son held

Anti-liquor activist late Sasi Perumal's son was arrested near here today for trying to stage a sit-in in front of a state run liquor outlet, police said.

Vivek was arrested when he tried to stage a protest in front of the Tamil Nadu State Marketing Corporation (TASMAC) shop near a school at Elampillai.

Sasi Perumal had died during a protest seeking closure of a liquor shop near an educational institution in Kanyakumari district, on July 31.
