Gang beheads man in Tamil Nadu

An unidentified gang today hacked to death a 32-year-old man and beheaded him near a railway level crossing in the district, police said.

The victim Rajeshsimman, the son of a former AIADMK town secretary in Ammapettai, was travelling to Saliyamangalam when the incident happened, they said.

When Rajeshsimman stepped out of his car, four men on two motorcycles attacked him with sickles before beheading him, police said.

Police suspect an old enmity to be the motive behind the murder.
