Gang of cattle smugglers busted in Noida

Zakir was taken into custody last night when it was found during routine patrolling that he and seven of his accomplices were loading cows on a truck for taking them to a slaughter house, they said.

The accused then opened fired on a Sub-Inspector, but the bullet missed him, they said, adding that a manhunt has been launched to nab the remaining gang members who managed to escape.
