A motorcycle-gang set ablaze some vehicles, including a mini-bus, parked in front of houses in different areas here and a search is on for them, police today said.
The incident occurred around mid-night last night, police said.
Initial investigation revealed that several autorickshaws were gutted in the fire.
The gangsters had come on motorcycles and used petrol to burn the vehicles, police said.
People, who woke up hearing the noise, informed fire service personnel who rushed to the spot and doused the fire.
