Logistics firm Gati Ltd today recorded a 83 per cent rise in net profit at Rs 13.81 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2014.
The company had recorded a net profit of Rs 7.55 crore in the year ago period, Gati said in a NSE filing.
Total income of the company too rose to Rs 383.29 crore as compared to Rs 316.59 crore in the quarter ended March 31, 2014.
For the nine-months period ended March 31, 2014, the company recorded a net profit after tax at Rs 28.31 crore crore. It was Rs 10.07 crore in the previous year.
Gati Ltd is into the business of express distribution and supply chain solutions.
