GE Power India board accepts Ashok Ganesan's resignation

GE Power India today said its board has accepted the resignation of Managing Director Ashok Ganesan and he will take a global role in General Electric Company from June 1, 2017.

"The Board of Directors of GE Power India Ltd at its meeting held on March 14, 2017, accepted the resignation of Ashok Ganesan as Managing Director of the company with effect from end of business hours on May 31, 2017," GE Power India said in a BSE filing.

"Effective June 1, 2017, he will take a global role in General Electric Company ('GE'). In terms of the provisions of Code of Conduct to Regulate, Monitor and Report Trading by Insiders, the Trading Window of the Company shall remain closed from now onwards up to Thursday, March 16, 2017," it added.
