Press Trust of India Mumbai
All India Gems and Jewellery Trade Federation (GJF) today went live with the launch of its mobile app on Android and iOS platforms for its members and trade at large.

With its directory integrated in the app, members can now access the entire database of GJF members that would enable them to connect, network and grow their business, GJF said in a release here.

The app also features information about the organisation and various activities undertaken by it.

The future updates of the app will contain more benefits like industry news and updates, GJF's Jeweller Identification Card (JID), videos of various seminars, which will help the jewellers stay connected and conversant.

"It is a proud moment for GJF to launch its first ever mobile app for the gems and jewellery industry. The app would be very useful to our members to connect to various activities undertaken by GJF over these years and also hook up to large data base of GJF member database.

"The app will basically synergise with our philosophy to protect, promote and progress the trade," GJF Chairman G V Sreedhar said.

GJF Chief Executive Mukul Kulkarni said, the principle of the app is to keep it simple and user-friendly. The association is working on the second phase of the app, which will have more enhanced user experience.
