Army chief General Bikram Singh, who is superannuating on July 31, today paid a farewell visit to the Army Training Command (ARTRAC) here and interacted with the officers.
Accompanied by his wife Bubbles Singh, the Chief of the Army Staff addressed the officers of ARTRAC and complimented the "scholar warriors" for the exceptional work done in giving shape to various doctrines and concepts of modern warfare and updating all training pamphlets and training curricula of the Indian Army.
General Singh and his wife also released the revised edition of the book - 'Wedded to the Olive Greens'.
ARTRAC head Lt Gen Sanjeev Madhok assured the Army chief that his team will continue to strive to achieve even greater glory in line with its motto, 'Excellence in the Art & Science of War'.
