Ghanshyam Singh appointed new Railway Member (Traction)

Railways engineer Ghanshyam Singh was today appointed as new Member (Traction) of Railway Board.

Singh, an officer of Indian Railway Service of Electrical Engineering (IRSEE) of 1979 batch, worked as general manager in Eastern Railway prior to his new assignment, a release said.

He has also worked in various capacities including the chief electrical engineer of Northern Railway.
