GHMC official allegedly caught while taking bribe

A senior official of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) was today allegedly caught by the Anti-Corruption Bureau while taking bribe.

K Kishan Rao, Deputy Director of Urban Bio-Diversity in GHMC, was caught red handed this evening while accepting Rs 30,000 from a contractor, the ACB said.

Rao had demanded the bribe for passing a bill, it added. Further probe was on.
