Ginger recovers on upbeat demand

Ginger unbleached recovered at the spices market here today due to good demand from stockists and retailers.

While, black pepper slipped owing to subdued demand from stockists and retailers.

Meanwhile, all other spices ruled steady in the absence of any worthwhile buying activities.

Black pepper (per kg) 480/570 (490/580),ginger unbleached (per kg) 130 (127), copra office Alappuzha (per quintal) 11,300 (11,300), copra office Kozhikode (per quintal) 11,200 (11,200), copra Rajapur Mumbai (per quintal) 14,500 (14,500), copra edible Mumbai (per quintal) 13,000 (13,000).
