Girl alleges molestation

A teenaged girl has charged a youth of molesting her at her home in Suraj Nagar here, police said today.

The accused Mandeep Singh (22), a resident of the same locality, was arrested following the complaint, they said.

In her complaint, the victim (17) alleged that the accused entered her house late last night and molested her, the police said, adding that the accused managed to escape when she raised an alarm.

The police arrested the accused today.
