Girl charred to death

A ten-year-old girl was charred to

death when a fire broke out in a hut in which she was sleeping, police said here today.

The incident occurred last night in Devpalpura village in Pokhran. Her parents were working in the farm at night and she was sleeping alone in the thatched structure, police said.

Police suspect that the fire broke out due to a lamp.
