A teenage girl allegedly committed suicide by jumping before a train here, police said today.
The incident took place yesterday when the girl ended her life by jumping before a train at the level crossing here. The victim's family told police that she was depressed over some issue not known to them, they said.
In another incident, body of a woman was recovered yesterday from the Ganga canal in Khatoli town here.
"It is suspected that the woman was strangulated and later her body was thrown into the canal," said SHO Sunil Kumar.
