Girl dies as a branch of a tree falls on her

An 18-year-old girl was killed and another injured when a branch of a tree fell on them at Bhanja Vihar on the outskirts of this south Odisha town, police said today.

The incident took place when the two girls were on their way to temple on a motor-cycle yesterday, they said.

The deceased was identified as T Nandini Kukari Reddy of Rangeilunda villave in Ganjam district, police said adding the injured was admitted to MKCG Medical College and Hospital.
