Girl found dead in Kannauj

Body of a 10-year-old girl was today recovered from a sack near a pond in Chibramau tehsil, police said.

Body of the victim, who was missing since yesterday, was recovered from a sack near pond in Mohan Nagla village this morning, Additional Superintendent of Police Subhash Chandra said.

Prima face it seemed to be a case of murder after rape but it would be confirmed after the post mortem report, he said.
