Girl found dead in tank

A 11-year-old girl was found dead in a water tank complex in Rabupura in the district this morning, police said.

The girl had gone missing last night after she had gone to some function in the neighbourhood, police said.

Her relatives had looked for her throughout the night, they said, adding that they suspected she was kidnapped and murdered.

The body has been sent for postmortem and the matter is being probed, they said.
