Girl gangraped, 3 held

A class IX student was gang raped by three youths inside a tea garden in West Bengal's Jalpaiguri district, police said here today.
The three have been arrested, they said.
The victim girl, along with her friends, were on way to Hamiltonganj from Kalchini on bicycles when they were chased by three men. While two girls managed to flee, one failed to do so. The youths picked her up and raped her inside Kalchini Tea Garden last evening, Alipurduar SDPO Biswachand Thakur said.
Later her friends returned with more people and took her to hospital and a police complaint was lodged.
 

Police today arrested the three accused, who were tractor drivers of the tea garden, the SDPO said.
