A 21-year-old girl was arrested and let on bail, for casting proxy vote at Oonjal Velampatti booth in Pollachi Parliamentary constituency, official sources said.
The girl, Vishnupriya had cast the vote, claiming she was Pavithra, sources said.
However, the presiding officer noticed the bogus voting and lodged a complaint, based on which, she was arrested.
After registering a case, Vishnupriya was released on bail, the sources added.
