Girl jumps from river bridge in Jammu

A 25-year-old girl today allegedly jumped from a bridge into river Tawi in Jammu, police said.

Aprana jumped from Tawi bridge into the river here today, police said, adding she was rescued by the locals who were present at the time of the incident, police said.

They brought her out the river and was later shifted into police flying squad vehicle to the GMC hospital in injured condition for treatment, he said, adding the details are awaited.
