Girl killed in accident

A two-year-old girl died when a school van ran over her at Mantridi village in Ganjam district, police said today.

The girl was identified as Pinki. She was immediately taken to the MKCG Medical College and Hospital after the mishap yesterday, but the doctor declared her brought dead.

The vehicle was seized, but the driver fled, police said.
