Girl molested by class teacher in Assam

A minor girl was allegedly molested by her class teacher in the class room in Assam's Sonitpur district today, police said.

The sixth standard student's father lodged an FIR against the teacher at Babejia out post under Tezpur Police station, they said.

Sonitpur superintendent of police Sanjukta Parashar said the accused is absconding and police have started a manhunt for him.
