An 18-year-old girl has allegedly been raped by her 55-year-old relative in Chinthamani taluk of Chikballapur district, police said.
The girl lodged a complaint today about the incident which occurred on Tuesday when the accused accosted her while returning home, hit her with a stone and committed the crime, police said.
The relative threatened her that she would be killed if she disclosed the incident, police said, adding, two teams had been formed to nab the accused.
