Girl student lodges FIR against lecturer for indecent proposal

An FIR was today lodged against a lecturer of a government-run college in Gaya district for allegedly making indecent proposals to a girl student, police said.

In her complaint to police, the student alleged that the lecturer of the English department had been harassing her for the past couple of days over the telephone, Rampur police station SHO Sujay Vidyarthi said.

The principal of the college has said a team would be constituted to probe the allegations and further action would be decided based on its report.
