Army today received a batch of girl students who were sent to visit various parts of the country under a National Integration tour organised by the Army under its Operation 'Sadbhavna'.
"A National Integration tour organised for the girl students of villages located in remote and far flung areas of Rajouri district under Operation 'Sadbhavna' by Romeo Force was received by by Lt Gen KH Singh General Officer Commanding, 16 Corps at Nagrota today," an Army spokesman said.
"During their visit, the girl students had an opportunity to visit prestigious educational institutes like Kendriya Vidyalaya RK Puram, Army Public School, Dhaula Kuan and recreational places in Delhi like Delhi Zoo, historical monuments Qutub Minar, Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Shakti Sthal, and Shanti Van," the spokesman said.
Students also got an opportunity to interact with President Pranab Mukherjee, he said.
